I FOUND THIS IN ONE OF MY LOCAL CHAT BOARDS AND WAS WONDERING IF I SHOULD PICK IT UP AND FIX THIS WIRING AND THEN DRIVE IT OR SELL IT. LET ME KNOW.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have an 87 Jeep Wrangler out in my garage, have had it about 4 years, its ran about 4 months. I bought it as a beater, but like anything else, I started fartin around with it, and I added a 4.5 inch rubicon express lift, 35" bfgs, tom woods driveshaft and sye kit, along with a shitload of parts in boxes, in and around the jeep ,etc...the idea was to have a somewhat fun 4wd that would allow me to put the cobra away for the winter...but its got to be reliable..

the motor is spent, has 175K on it, trans was rebuilt by some turd that didnt know what he was doing and it doesnt synch gears well, for some reason...not to mention some constant whining i hear coming from it while clutch is out in neutral...anywyas,

I tried to half ass it. i put it together with shit used parts here and there, left the shit 175K motor in it, left the whiny trans in it, and now there seems to be my love, a wiring problem....I think I traced it down, but im in the process of redoing some of the wiring harness, and I need to pop for a computer, i believe mine has shorted out.

so heres the thing. I made my mind to dump it this summer, get whatever I can for it, theres about 5K in parts sitting out there....I figured if i got 2K id be happy, the lift is about 1200 and the tires were about 1K with nice aluminum rims, so someone would get the jeep and all the parts for free...

NEEDS NEW DRIVERS FENDER AND WIRING PROBLEM FIXED.

Like what? This seems to be the most important part of the deal to me. I wouldn't buy it unless I knew what "parts" he has equal to $5,000. Those are some really expensive parts, or a whole lot of them!

If its a 5 speed the xmsn is shit, don't waste your $ on it. You can find a 4.0L and swap out the engine and probably the whole wiring harness.

Didn't say what kind of wiring problem. I wouldn't give over a K, unless the part are an engine and xmsn.
