Not a lot of Taco tech here yet, found that out by searching...:flipoff2:

Gonna do a SAS on my '97. Going to try and use ALL Toy stuff. A little background on what I intend on doing. The victim truck is a '97 std cab V6/MT. I'm going to replace the R150F with a R151F via a 3.0 bellhousing. This will allow me to use a crawl box and gear driven t-case with a FJ80 front axle. I've already scored the tranny and t-cases. My immediate concern is the VSS. My '97 Toyota FSM shows a VSS connection at the stock t-case AND a VSS connection on the rear of the instument cluster. However, the FSM fails to say what each of these VSS's are driving. My limited experience suggests to me that the ECM is driven by the cluster VSS and the cruise control is driven off of the t-case VSS. Is this correct, are these VSS connections mutally exclusive? And if this is the situation would a gear driven t-case VSS be compatible with the stock t-case VSS? Anyone know these things?

Thx
