I recently acquired a Dana 70 dually rear axle from an 80's model RV. I plan on lifting my 84 GMC (looking at 14" springs from carrier spring with a Dana 60 in front) It has 456 gears and is 65" wm to wm. I looked at a Dana 60 and the only difference I see is that the drum brake mount on the axle looks about an inch or so further from the hub. I plan on disk brakes anyway so that don't seem to be a problem.

Anyone has any input about this swap. I need some help??

Thanks

PM SpineTx. He has the exact same setup in his Willys. He's pretty good about giving good advice. That or maybe he'll see this and chime in.

mud is mud, and ive already rolled a bronco in mud with no lift, 14" is way to much even for mud
