I was drilling the frame rails to move r-arm brackets back and drilled through the damn fuel lines and got both of them. What could I use in place of that plastic with pressed in fittings efi hose. I tried to go through dealer they said it was no longer available. its an 89 ford bronco 5.8 efi. What kind of pressure does those lines supply?

i find this tyo be a good chance to put in steel lines, go to advanced auto and pickup some lines, get some rubber hose aswell because youll want flex points so the lines wont crack.

my buddies 86 f150 with a 302 EFI had the same problem, i snapped the plasric line from the filer to the fuel rail, i put some high pressure rubber line on and it works fine, just make sure it has a flared end so it doesnt blow off the line

The pressure line typically runs around 50-60 psi in GM applications...I would assume Ford would be similar. The return line is much lower psi since it's not supplying injectors, just recirculating excess fuel. Steel, rubber, braided stainless Teflon...whatever works.

You can buy short plastic replacement sections at the parts store.Dorman sells them, they come with everything to splice in a new section.

flare the metal line once and use two hose clamps per end, problem solved
