rollovers and some of the drivers seem to like the skinny pedal a little
to much , but made for a great comp. good comp rich

Lucie and I were there yesterday only and we just raced home this morning. Here were some of the neat highlights that I caught throughout the day. No pictures sorry, but I know Camo was working his ass off snapping up photos and several others, so your eyes will be filled with pixilated candy soon.

Highlights & Lowlights:
Jason & Lance ran their first course flawlessly and racked up only 2 points for the whole day until their last course where they flopped it within sight of the final gate. I didn’t see it, but they tried to push it over with no luck. I guess at one point Jason tried to get back in while it was upside down with the help of Lance pushing on his nether regions (although he denies the allegations). They didn’t get through the gate, but put on a good show.

Jeff Mello had some motor problems to where the motor actually seized up while on course. Let’s just say some foreign material with the name “Hanes” on it worked it’s way down from the oil valley into the nether regions of the crank journals and well, no oil doesn’t do a motor good. They got it running again without the Hanes rag mucking stuff up and continued the day.

Becca spotted by Dustin were on one course (don’t recall any of the #s) and got their rear axle snagged on a boulder the size of their rig. I could hear Dustin say “I am not sure what to do here” because it was pretty tough to get past. With barely any room to back up and risking rolling down the hill with a little mistake, they were faced with a challenge. He grabbed an available telephone pole chunk?? and gapped it between the rocks so the rear axle could slide over and not fall in. It was a creative recovery for the situation. Unfortunately though, a gate later she rolled while backing down the hill and they couldn’t recover.

I saw Tracy Jordan and Shannon Campbell running a couple of their courses and they seemed to just clean those up. Tracy had one where he got a perfect score.

I saw a lot more, but I have to run. I am sure the stories will be flying later today. One thing is for sure, Lil’ Rich has pulled some technical courses out of his bag of tricks for today with 20 point bonus lines all over the place. So if you think you are sitting cozy with a great run yesterday, you better watch out because those bonus gates could bring anyone back into the game.

Heres some pics I took on Saturday. Showed up around 10 and left about 4. Had a great time and was glad to see there was such a good turn out. Props to those who ran the show...Event seemed well organized with the rigs starting on time and the courses were set up in such a way that you could usually see a least 2 or 3 rigs from the same spot. I just hope that there is a comp at Donner every year! :smokin:

Scherer and Zellar tied, and Schere won on the tie breaker. Don't know about the series, but I'm sure Campbell won the tie breaker for the series as well...

I figured out answer re: Donner #4 2nd/3rd ... point goes to best score on A1 (2nd -- Lance/Scherer; 3rd -- Zeller/Posten).

Shane is fine. He took a hard roll and hit his head good. He had to get towed down cause the engine was hydrolocked with oil. He got it going and had a much better day Sunday.

What a blast. It is amazing what those rigs can do.

Wes, Mikie and I all had a friggin blast, that's for sure! The courses were challenging but a really fun time, and although there was a TON of hiking involved, I really enjoyed the whole park!
Most of Saturday hurt like Hell for me, so thank you all I hung out with Friday night! Whoile event was a blast!

I think the first tie break is most number of first during the season which they both got one each...the second tie break is the heighest place finisher at the final event which would be Cody.

Slamming two Monster engery drinks at 2 AM and then allowing me to drive the truck and 40 ft trailer is probably a bad idea.
Never tell Lubes to "kiss my ass" because he bites instead.
Never step in front of Kimber while shooting because she grabs your ass to move you. :D
Team Breakall did indeed break all.
Everyone thinks I'm Scott's wife but I'm not!

All I heard that was from someone I trust AND that was completely sober is that BZ bought me like a quadruple Crown on the rocks, and I strained it into a cup with no ice and shot it all.

jeeppeppin - nobody had a camera that night for some reason. Kelly fell out early that night in order to recover by morning, I headed up with no camera because I needed to talk to Rich and had no intention of staying, I believe it was Jason from Crawl that showed up aroun 9ish but he didn't have his camera either. The Rage 4th camera woman caught one of the members of Village People in the middle of the old YMCA routine. The same guy was seen with a little Chihuahua in his pink purse. The driver of the 31 car looked like a 13 year old. I believe his name was Twink.

Things I learned this weekend:
Slamming two Monster engery drinks at 2 AM and then allowing me to drive the truck and 40 ft trailer is probably a bad idea.
Never tell Lubes to "kiss my ass" because he bites instead.
Never step in front of Kimber while shooting because she grabs your ass to move you. :D
Team Breakall did indeed break all.
Everyone thinks I'm Scott's wife but I'm not!

The thing I learned this weekend was NEVER, I mean NEVER tell Dean Bullock and Bob Standage they don't have enough money to get US DRUNK (Marisa and I) WOW!!! For all those who missed that, you missed some good times, the $100.00 were a flying out at the bar like NOTHING! I believe we started around 1:00 in the afternoon, and Shoot, the last thing I remember was lil'rich asking us to slow down, however after I let him know everyone who was drinking was staying on site he seemed to be ok with it.. (sorry.. Rich, we were just havin some fun) And thanks for confirming the FLIP CUP rules, Shane won $100.00 from Todd...

And.. I did see some pirate a$$es,YES THERE IN PHOTOS!!!! There Fawking too funny... :D

Thanks to everyone who enjoyed the weekend with us! We enjoyed every minute of it! Donner Rocks! Hope to be back next year!

However, I would like to recommend that the courses are changed up a bit, so Media can simply ride the lifts back and fourth to get pics. It would make it so much easier after a HARD EVENING of DRINKING!
