Here is the best problem ive ever had....

I have two sets of tires... a set of 38.5/15/15 Gumbos's and a set of 35/15/15 swampers.

The swampers are on 15 by 12 inch aluminium rims
The gumbos are on 15 by 10 inch steel rims.

If I measure the gumbos from the wheel mount lug holes to the outside of the tire(layed a 2x4 arcoss the tire and measured straight up) it comes up to a bit over ten inches, they have standard backspacing for cheap steel wheels.

The swampers stick out about an inch farther. Problem is I have never had a set of tires that are under 15 inch's wide...and I need to know the following...

My question is if I measure the same way with a set of cheap steel wheels from american wheel, size 15x8, and stick on a 35/12.5/15, about how far will they stick out from the wheel mount?

I need to decide on what axles to go with and I need to keep it with in a certain lenght form outside of one wheel to the other.

Can you all tell me that no one has ran 35/12.5 on cheap steel wheels and known there WMS TO WMS and known there total width.....I could figure it out from there....

I might have to go find a rig in a parking lot or something
