Hi I have a 96 ram 1500 4x4 with a less than desireable auto tranny and would like to swap it to a 5speed manual. Does anyone know what transmissions would work in here? would it have to be a tranny out of the same kind of truck or could i use an older heavier one out of something else? And would I have to do anything with the computer? I'd really appreciate any info
