hi guys,

I just finished building my own winch bumper & i need the dimensions for the rectangular shape dimensions to cut off the front of the bumper so I could install the Hawse / Fairleads.

I need the horizontal dimension, also the vertical and at last the center of 2 holes dimensions (also which kind of bolts are used to mount the Hawse to the bumper.

All dimensions are needed just to cut the slot that the Hawse will be mounted on.

For the guys that probably asks them self why i don't check the Hawse himself? well, I dont have it yet.

Thanks,

Gali.

Whoops, I was going to measure the opening on the LR winch bumper on the 90 over the weekend.

I'm sure its not 3" tall, but its the o.e. one and likely not expected to hold synthetic line.

Hi there,

I am only doing this for you because your are Israeli! :smokin:

The minimum hole you can cut is 7.5 long, 1.125 high. There is room there to cut a much wider hole though, you could go 1.625 x 8 and still hide the cut with room to spare. The bolt holes are 10in apart and mine came with standard 3/8in bolts. Not sure what kind you bought. The easiest thing is to wait for yours to arrive if you can.

Where in Israel are you located?
