Bently is a great dog. He just has this wondering ability and likes to disappear if you don't pay attention to him. If he were fenced, he's a great buddy and protector. He's about 2.5 years old, licensed, all shots, all black, very friendly, great with kids but I can't keep him anylonger. I'm afraid he's going to get ran over in the street near us. He is well trained and will stay as long as your around but if you go into the house for a half an hour, he might just split for the afternoon. He always comes back and is great with outher dogs but I don't want to see him get squashed.
Anyone need a good buddy? I've taken him wheeling many times and he always stays around and is a bunch of fun. Great trail dog.

Is Bently house trained? My Grandpa just had his wife pass away and needs a friend to hang out with him and be spoiled.If Bently is a mello loving house trained lab then could you call me? Our family all has labs or lab mixes and he would have lots of dog friends and visitors.I am very interested if you think he would be the right dog. Just in the event something would happen to my Grandpa Bently would have a very happy home with us and our lab/border collie.

He even has a chip in his head so he can be found.

I've arranged for my wife & I to meet Bently on Sunday to see if our dogs get along ok. I'm really hoping it all works out ;)

We picked up Bently yesterday afternoon! What a nice dog! He gets along great with our 2yo Dobbie/Lab mix and is already settling into his new home. Thanks Bruce and Todd ;)

There's no doubt he'll be back on the trail soon! Here's a pic of him this afternoon after I put the EB away. Took him all of 2 minute to find his spot ;)

I miss hangin with Bentley. Very glad he found a good home though.
