I made contact with him about a buggy that he was selling, I made him an offer that he refused, he contered and I accepted.
It was advertised with Swampers that had 1 Moab trip on them, TR beadlocks, OBA, extra set of paddles and smoothies, spool, amongst the mod list. He did not say that anything that was in the add would change...until I flew across the country to look at it on a Saturday. I show up and it now has what look to be 10 year old swampers with cheap some cheap beadlocks. I inquire and he says that the other good set of Swampers do not go for that price, I look under the hood, no OBA, just the OEM compressor. He says that he has not had time to get it done. He then tells me that the paddle tires and wheels do not come with it.
All of this info comes to me after I have about $800 (airfare, hotel, rental car, etc...) invested into it. We go wheeling for a couple hours, and I notice that the trans temp gauge is not working to which he says "its just a loose wire, I'll take care of that". Ok, no big deal. Then coolant starts spewing on to the front axle, he says "I hav'nt had time to put a recovery tank on it, I'll take care of it". Ok, no big deal I tell myself again. We end up making the deal at the price we previously agreed on as long as the other tires and wheels go on he finishes the OBA, and gets the resivoir and such on there. And if he could not fit the side panels in the buggy that he will send them to me. I then give him $5K for a deposit and head home on Sunday. I told him that as soon as it was ready I would have it picked up and I would deposit the remaining balance in his account. He calls me on Wednesday and says that it all ready to go. He is paid the next morning and the buggy is picked up that afternoon and I am happy as shit!
About 4 days later Scott emails me to tell me that he fucked me. He did not do the OBA but he did set the tank in the buggy and he did not put in a resevoir. I am pissed beyond belief...he then offers to send me a resivoir that he just ordered along with the panels that he still owes me. Well here we are 1 month later, no panels, no resivor, and no responses to emails.

we agreed on a price and the new tires and wheels were put back on the rig as promised. as far as the other issues i explained about the onboard air that is was not in the add.

1.You had OBA in the add, where else would the idea ever come from as the truck does not have it now, where would I get the idea?
2. You said that you would put theOBA on before it got picked. Even if it was not in the add (which it was) you agreed to do it.
3. You did change the tires and wheels before I got there, you did change them back but why change them in the first place?
4. You don't remember any agreements or addresses that I gave you over the phone, that is why I must do everything with you in writing.
5. Your price was $25k not $26k.
6. You said nothing about the paddles till I got there.
7. You said the truck had a spool, it was welded...not a big deal, but why lie?
8. You said you would put a coolant recovery tank on it, you did not.
9. You said the tranny temp gauge was not working because it must be a loose wire...there is no sending unit!

We did figure out a deal, he just did not hold up his end of the deal. If I had gotten the buggy in the agreed condition there would have been zero problems. I did not, even though that I paid the agreed amount of money. I posted to keep other people from getting screwed by this guy. There is nothing that he can do now to reconcile the stuff that he did not do to the buggy, so I have nothing to gain other than to warn others. If you believe that to be acting like a kid than I hope everyone acts like a kid to help others out.

this is the list for the buggy. i don`t think that i have left anything out but im not sure.
you will find that the air compressor is not operational on the buggy. i had the tank mounted on monday night but was not happy with it being so close to the exhaust. i removed it and it is strapped down next to the front pass seat along with the regulator.
i will agree that the tires and wheels were in the original add. as i said i would put those back on. the comperessor and air system were not in the add. im sorry if this upsets you but i will be happy to walk you threw on getting it all hooked up. i hope that you don`t feel that you got screwed on this deal since i did have over 21000.00 parts in this buggy so you got a great deal. i hope that you enjoy it and let me know if you need to know anything else about the rig. have a great day

ya they do, but the better way is to EDIT THE 1st line of add, this does 2 very important things

#1 you can see item is sold without opening add & reading all the way through to only find out you just wasted your time.
#2 is doesn't get bumped to the top,so it doesn't push all the active adds down.
