last year my 2000 trooper threw a rod, and i had it rebuilt it has run fine untill today. The motor blew it agian. It didnt knock or anything. it just blew and sent the rod through the pan. Is anyone else haveing similiar problems with the 3.5lt threwing rods

Some 3.5s have a problem with excess oil consumption but I haven't heard of anyone throwing a rod.
