Trying to finish up my first frame swap and get the truck ready for the road. To convert from the stock 83 ps pump to an IFS steering pump what mod's need to be made?

Or is the swap not worth the time?

With ZERO info included on the rig/engine/etc, you won't get an answer.

Its a 1983 toyota regular cab, with a stock 22r, 94inch wheelbase, 35/12.5 ssr's the pump would be coming off of an 87 4runner with a 22re

When I did my hysteer I got...

IFS power steering box
Marlins high steer crossover kit MC-13572
Marlins IFS mount plate

The crossover kit includes the drag link, tie rod, Hysteer arms and pitman arm. The mount plate is basically a support plate for your frame. comes with all bolts and hardware.

That should get you started.

Highsteers not really in the budget right now, but it is for in the future. Should I wait and do it all at once, or could i do it now since i still have to hook up the steering, will it work with a stock steering arm and tie rod

Maybe I'm missing something. What frame did you swap, did you put your 83 body on an IFS frame, or what exactly did you do? If you did your still going to have a hard time getting it to turn beings the 83 axle came stock with push pull steering and the IFS box didn't. You could buy just the Hysteer arms and drop drag link then fabricate the links yourself. But if your questioning your abilities your better off just buying the kit.
