Last month I contacted Hanmanius and agreed to purchase a Toyota FSM from him. I pay pal'ed him the money ($15) promptly. He said he would ship out ASAP. About a week later I recieved a message from him saying he shipped it out, but it was to the wrong address and the manual was returned back to him. At that time he said he would refund me $5 for the delay (which I said OK but really I was more interested in just recieving the manual) and also ship out the manual as soon as possible.
I still have not recieved this manual. I have contacted him several times via PM and no response.
Original for sale post for the manual - http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=494816
I hope this can be resolved painlessly for all parties involved. Thanks.
Brian

1) File a dispute with Paypal.. It'll lock down his account and *encourage* him to resolve the issue.

Good call. Done.
I've had nothing but great experiences buying and selling items on PBB, hopefully this can be resolved accordingly.

it won't lock his account, it will put a hold on the funds, the $15 no more no less. paypal will take up to 30 days to decide, and if they award you your $ back, you get it if he has the $ in his account.
I won 2 cases, and one was like $70 but they only had $40 in there account:shaking:

He'll net a negative and not be able to use that account until the issue is resolved.
Also, as soon as you file a dispute it locks the funds from transfer... If he hasn't moved the funds, he won't be able to.
The bad news is that paypal is now charging $25 to police disputes...
Hey, if you need a FSM from an 89, I've got it on PDF - email or PM me and I'll get it to you for free if you've got a broadband connection.
