hey just called jd2 for a 1" 180 4.5 die set and they said turn around would be "prolly about 2 weeks"

anyone know if I could count on 1-3 weeks (since I know some of you have waited)

so do you think 1-3 would be a good estimate or should I just guess like 6 months?

If a die set is all you need - call around to some of their re-sellers, most re-sellers have the die sets in stock, just not the benders themselves....

Did they tell me 4-5 weeks for my bender and die? I think so (vs 5-6)

Showed up 5 weeks to the day.

That was in March..

They told me "about 4 weeks", and it came in about 4 weeks. I haven't heard of people complaining about them not showing up in time, just that they are slow.

Moab, I really need the part # you have for the detroit, I don't have or need the spacer, thanks though...If you don't have that handy, I can call randy's with your BOM, and get it that way...PLEEZE don't make me buy a lockright!

damn I new I forgot that....

I will get it over this weekend for sure...BUT please double check your bom # and dodn't rely on mine...there are tons of axle combos out there and mine could very well be a 60 - OR 61 ...

I heard I couln't get a detroit for mine so I called randies and just geve them the BOM and they sent it out....wheather it turned out to be a 61 or not I dunno....but it IS a c clip so with a spacer or thick gears you chould be fine.......bom# is coming soon I PROMISE

Thanks. Didn't mean to hijack your thread here, but I have Pm'ed several times, and your email addy don't work... As far as my BOM goes, Randys won't even look, they say there is no such creature as a 60/61 c clip detroit. I'm beginning to wonder what you have, as even the tech guy at Tractech says the same thing...Please PM or email any info to me at Gozuki (gozuki@hotmail.com) TIA, Mike

I had ordered my model 3, 1" 3-180 and 1.5" 4.5-180 dies on 3/26. They arrived late last week/early this week. They said 3 to 4 weeks so they were right on the money with my order.
