What's the bolt pattern on a dana 300 input? What is the overall width?

I dont know off hand but I have one sitting on the floor in the garage. I can measure it today when I get home. What exactly do you need?

mainly overall width of bolt pattern and depth of protrusion of input bearing retainer.

Yep, not an even circle. If you were planning on making an indexing ring or something, get some pointed transfer screw studs.

I hoped it was even, had to indicate each hole, got the coords around here somewhere...
