The clutch fan on my 360-V8 is just about worn out. Found the price from the local schmucks are around $100-110 to replace it. Would rather go electric and get some HP/Trq back at the same time.
I did a search, came across this thread:

That got me interested in the older Lincoln Mark VII fans. Anyone have any more info than what is there. My concern was the two speed/variable. Was there a voltage regulater seperate from the fan? or is there multiple wires running in to it. (If a regulator, I assume I could just run it right off the battery at full speed all the time)
Was also wondering if anyone had a line on getting them new, besides the dealer. I am eyeballing 4,700-6,000cfm rating.. just don't want to pay the flex-a-lite price.
