What size tubing is sufficient for making a rear axle hoop for the upper 4 link mounts?
2" .120 1.5" .120?
I have some 1.5" .120 left over from another project that I was going to use.

I'm sure it would work if your comfortable with that. I used 2" square tubing with a .25 wall thickness.I think it will hold:smokin:

1.5x.120 is perfect.
I assume you are braceing it forward to the diff housing, which should be done no matter what you use

I scored an avalanche rock ring for my D60 and I was going to tie the tubing (1.5" x .120) to it just like in the pic below. Does anyone see any problem with this way or have any suggestions?

You just unbolt it from the top of the ring. There are 2 bolts that attach the tubing tabs to the hoop. See the pic below.
