If your replacing the motor and every thing I say 44/60 combo.

the problem with the 60s is the diff size especially in a short wheelbase jeep

Right now with my 44s I am at an 18 inch drive shaft SOA

I cut down a '73 Chevy Dana 44 for the front. I took 5" off the right and 11" off the left side to be 1" wider on each side than stock. My wheels are deeper than normal by 2", otherwise I would've cut 3" and 8" off.

Check 4 sale section. There are two 44s with Pass side pumkins, gears and ARBS for $2500. Pretty decent starting point for price.
