Gozuki 04-26-2002, 04:59 PM I have heard of people having a 35 spl c clip D60 Detroit, and have gone rounds with the tech guy at tractech...( he says there IS NO such thing) Does anybody else have one, or even know the application/part #? FYI, I have a semifloat D60 35 spline c clip rear, and REALLY don't wanna go back to a Lockright.... I welded the stock carrier, but I would LOVE to keep the detroit when I switch from D44 to D60...TIA, Mike Gozuki 04-27-2002, 09:59 AM Help!?! aaronlosey 04-27-2002, 02:46 PM its my understanding that dana 60s where never offered with c clips. you might have seen a 30 spline detroit before and thought it was for the dana 60 because of the spline count, but it is actually for the dana 35. i don't believe you are looking for the correct part, i don't believe you axle has a c-clip, i would probably say there is only one type of 35 spline detroit period, thats the one you need. by the way, you might want to delete this thread to save face. you go to edit, check the little delete thread, then this emarrassing little post goes away. besides, what the hell do you have a dana 60 under a zuki for anyways? Funny, I have a 35 spline C-clip D60, as do many, many many F250's. In answer to Gozuki - I couldn't find anything but the ARB and a powerlok that have 35 spline c-clip applications.
