Hi there,

from a former thread I believe to rememeber that the fuel rail of the DiscoII / P38 have valve (was it a Schrader-valve - though not sure, thought that is assigned to air and present in wheels) built in which can be used to measure the fuel pressure.

If so, does someone have a pic at hand. I observed a fuel rail at ebay and couldnīt see sth. like that on those pics. If there is such a thing it could be an option to find such a fuel rail and fit it to my RRC (but only if cost is not much more than the option to put a t-piece to the hose that feeds the fuel rail)

There is one on my ī96 4.6 P38. It looks the same as a normal tire valve.

Landybehr:
The DII/later P38 fuel rail will not work with a RRC as they are both Motronics engines and use different injectors and fuel lines. what you want is one from a '94 or '95 Disco, along with the fuel pressure regualtor. Depending upon the year of your classic, the plumbing can be quite different and the rail I described will be the easiest to retrofit.

It is much easier to fabricate a fitting to fit in-line with the fuel line, near where the feed from the tank enters the rail. The fittings are 8 m/m IIRC, the threads ARE NOT IMPERIAL.
