Ok,
Quick question. My alternator is dying, and before I put the stock one back in, is there an alternative, read higher amp, bolt in besides one of the $400.00 ones? I was thinking of something more readily available from a domestic application.

Great Ba$in Rover$ $ell$ a "mean green" alternator. They are water proof and higher quality than factory. I know others sell them also, but he is the only one that I know of. I saw the rover one at his booth at Moab 2000. They are sweet. I have no idea what they cost, but it can't be too far off from that figure.
