I need to retube my front drive shaft due to t18 swap and extended wheelbase in front. It uses 1310 ends and 2" tube. I've seen folks uses receiver(square) tube before due to not needing it balanced. Is there anything i need to be aware of when cutting the old tube off and welding the new tube in?

On the front I say go for it:D Just be sure to get the yokes straight, but I think it will work fine. My uncle did his own front shaft using polish rod;) He used to work for Arco. It has held for over 5 years. I plan to retube mine as well with some DOM when I fawk up my stock one:rasta:
