I had my Jeep sprayed with Line-X and really like it. It's been 2 1/2 years and it's holding up great.

I did herculiner. I like it because the local guy quoted me $500 to permatech spray my tub  Ill just stick to the 100 dollar herculiner. The kit with the gallon is more than enough for the tub, I did my wheel wells at the same time

a buddy of mine used herculiner and followed all of the instructions to a T, 6 months ater, it was faiding, peeling, and looking like crap, i have had line-x for two years and i love it, very durable, donesnt peel, and still looks good, stay away from the do it yourself crap

Herculiner for me. I've given it 3 months of hell. Tools in the back bouncing around, beach sand rubbing at it all the time, mud coatings, spilled beer, all kinds of stuff, and it has held up perfectly. If you want it to shine and look pretty I have heard that floor cleaner does the job. I think with the roll on the trick to making it stay is the preparation.

he didnt prep the surface correctly, I know atleast 10 people with herculiner and none of them do that, if they take the time to prep the surface correctly

If he followed the instructions carefully like you said, it wouldnt have chipped :flipoff2:

well....
the inside of my xj is linexed. i think its hands down the best way to go for a bedliner. its balls out tough stuff.
the one problem is, it cost me 350 to have it done.
its pretty hard to convince someone to spend over three times as much as herc.
linex has been headache free for me though, and i recommmend it to anyone who wants a seriously tough coating that doesnt peel of flake at all.

I did Herculiner about 2 years ago, no complaints. It was cheap and has been holding up good. Good preparation is a must. I do like the look of the Line-x though, just a little pricey. I looks like it holds up real good.

Liner is a waste of cash that could be spent on bigger & better mods - hence I says go the Herc.
I've got three tubs of the stuff to do my jeep one busy w/e....
