Hey guys I was wondering if any of you have ever converted a 2wd Ranger in the '95 year range to 4wd. I'm planning on using a stock t-case to bolt right up to my tranny and a straight axle in front, don't know what kind yet though. any tips or suggestions will be welcomed

You'll need a 4x4 version of your tranny, or at the least a 4x4 output shaft and TC adapter you can install in your existing tranny. You'll have to take the tranny apart to do it.
Most people will say it's easier and cheaper to just buy a 4x4.

Yup
Unless you got a line on the required parts for cheap, not really worth it.
The tranny has to basically come completely apart to get the shaft out.
