I have a Power steering box from a late 70's wagoneer on my Jeep. Can I get a longer flat pitman arm for it? With the stock one it seems like my draglink is mounted too far forward at an angle. I need a flat one because I have a high steer setup now. thanks

Believe it or not a chevy camaro, mid 70's model is about an inch longer than the CJ and is flat, the clocking may be a bit off but not bad..

thanks man I'll give it a try the next time I go to Pick and Pull. Will the longer arm give more leverage and make it easier to turn?

Is it clocked the same? And how much longer is it? I need one about 2".

I think the Camaro arm is 6.75", and Early bronco arm is 7". The longer the arm the more throw you will get, which will give you a tighter turning radius.

I also think the waggy arm is the same as the EB, the clocking is off so you may get more left turn then right but you can adjust some of that out by adjusting the drag link..

You don't need to woory about the clocking- if it's not what you can just cut (mill / drill ) the 4 keeways out. No More problem. Ford PU has a long flat pitman arm too. Just shortened one and put it on a YJ.

How long was the Ford pitman arm? It only needs to be 1" longer than the stock wagoneer arm.
