well hehe- mine turns out to be a 61 - i'd like to kinda keep my housing with all the time i have invested boaring the spindles ( its the rear diff by the way) shaving a little and such- so my question is this is there a 35 spline carrier that is offset to accomedate the 61 style - i have thin gears 4:56 (that's the only one i have found ) unless they make a thick style ( not reverse cut) it appears i'm .250 away even with a ring gear spacer (what ) yeh i tried that- any ideas-? i'd even wonder if an air locker would maybe be available? just found out tonight hehe- so i thought i'd post up and ask - Jess:D

I am pretty sure that only a .25" ring gear spacer is required to make your 61 look like a 60 to gears , lockers etc...
I am sorry that I dont have more specific info on this, as I don't own one/ haven't worked on one myself but this is what I have been told by several respectable sources.

what carrier are you trying to set it up with?
Do you have a stock 61 carrier or a 4.10 and down 60 carrier or a 4.56 and up 60 carrier?
Search, and someone has 5.13s. Copy what he did as far as a carrier and spacer/gears.
If you are stuck with an unsuitable carrier I don't see why you could not have a custom spacer machined if you found suitable bolts.
