Ok so im half way through my SAS and my EB rear 9"s pinion is slightly offset compared to my 8.8 was. so the driveshaft is going to contact the stock tank. I figured this was a good time to remove the stock tank, as it kills my breakover and will be a rockanchor anyways. im looking ot keep all of the stock fuel system (pump and emissions stuff). Is there another ford tank that is more compact and more apt to be mounted on top of the frame behind the cab?

that how the bed area is staying so i have no problems with room back there

You could probably use a between the rails rear tank from a chassis cab truck. I'm not sure exactly what they came in, possibly vans too.

dont think i want to go behind the axle as i will be trimming the frame up there later. behind the cab it will be more protected also
