if all the questions have been answered and all the old school guys are tired of answering old questions and an automated FAQ is about to be established, then its gonna get real quiet with nothing to talk about that has not already been done.I for the most part have asked a few questions just to get to know a few of you on line so I can make some contacts in other parts of the country. Its been cool and I have been learning a lot about these little trucks .Just wanna keep learning hopefully not all from my mistakes, taking advice and missing the hard road is nice sometimes too.Any way I am in what ever you guys wanna do....
Respectfully bowing away from the podium,

yeah, it will.........but its quicker for people to search than wait for an answer........ i personally don't mind answering the same ? over again...........

I own a dodge diesel and am a member of the turbodiesel register and its the same over there.Someone buys a cummins and the firdt thing is "how can I up the power " and why are my egts so high " and boost pressure questions. Its all been answered but some times the searching is weird.I have been searching for reasons of some driveline vibrations and it has only come up with 3 or 4 posts.I know that it has been talked about more than that but thats what the search is coming up with.....but a FAQ of major topics...toyota swaps,1.6 swaps would help out a lot on the new traffic and get to more precise probs that hardcores wanna figure out with help from their peers not nose pickers that just bought there first 4x4 and need help locking the hubs....

I know you are joking, but c'mon now Mike.

That level of Q should not even be asked here - at all, ever.

I'd rather have a quiet technical board than another web based version of Topica.

Come to think of it, the Suzuki section here is REALLY tame compared to what goes on in some of the other sections...

You guys are assuming the newbies are gonna search the faq before they ask questions. Personally, I think that's unlikely. The kinda person who reads a FAQ is also the kinda person who searches the archives before they ask. Just my theory.

Personally, I hope the FAQ does work. I like the quiet. Makes me feel like there are more of us wrenchin' than webbin'.:p

It may get quite in here it may not, what I want to do is anwer the really simple questions that don't require an entire thread. Tell ya the truth half the replies are just shit talkers anyhow. The FAQ's was just an idea to help out some of the newer members that want to know.:)

To be honest when i started on this board you guyz had me so intomodated i thought id never post. The pack would rip apart anyone new and thrash em pretty hard. I thought it was great, i was so sick of the off-road/topica crowd was just too much bolt on main streem stuff. Now folks with 2 posts are on the "fawk you" band waggon. Oh well. like some one else said id rather have a quiet techinical board than a chit chat whats for dinner board.

Just to keep some technical content here's what i did this weekend. I'm gonna start a new thread in the general to get comments on bracing to add.. Dont worry its not done yet...

I'm in loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove. That white one is great.

Thanks for the heads up on the location to the other pics. i have been asking q's lately about the chopping of the rear of the sami. now with your pics I can go out and do it properly this weekend.

do you have any tips, tricks, things to look out for, bits I can use to make the new rear skin out of the old tub etc etc etc.....any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to get my rig comp ready. There's some rock crawling comps coming up in the next few months I'd really like to attend, sporting the new tray back. :)
