I did a SR in the front, a la Jeff (no frame extension) and got a plate from Georg. Problem is the spring hanger is in the way of the plate. Looks like I can only use 3 of the 4 bolts for the sag box. Here is a pic from the SO Jeff did that is in the tech section. Looks to me like it uses 3 of the 4 bolts. Should I just modify the plate I have? Another option, I have a scout P/S gearbox I could go that route. I plan on having a pretty low SO though and I may end up with the pitman in the way of the springs if I go scout. All advice welcome.

you've prolly treid, but can you raise the plate? what about welding a stud, or bolt with the head cut off onto the plate/ hanger where it needs to be?
i like the scout box, alot like a toy box, because it doesnt sit out front. if you keep the box high it should be fine. i run the toy power box (early push pull style right now) but i will be going to late style pretty soon (like scout) and it looks like it will clear if i keep the arm high with my SOA/SR and pretty flat springs.

had a similar problem on my willys when i did it.i cut a hole through the spring hanger and welded in a peice of 1" solid that i drilled for the bolt(i don't like the bolt slopping around in tube, that why i went solid) my .02:)

I did not want to do anything to my hanger so, I notched the plate just enough to put the bolt shaft through. The place I made was 1/2" thick steel so, I figured it could take the stress.
