first off, if anyone knows of a thread where i can find this info, please tell me.

i've got a 98 cherokarr and want to do a 4" lift to clear 32's. i've decieded to lose the S-10 leaves i've got in it now, and go w/ some dakota's. they seem to flex really well and i've seen them done quite a bit. the front end however is another story.

I've heard that V8 ZJ coils will get you around 1.5", but i dont want to use spacers, i want all spring lift and good flex. does anyone have a heads up on a easy to find stock spring that will work, or any expierence w/ aftermarket lift coils (rusty's, RE, ect?)

I run Rusty's 3" coils... They gave me right at 3" and right fine...

I've got RE 3" coils in my ZJ.
Lift is closer to 3.5" and the ride if awesome. I get awesome flex too.

ok, would the rustys 3" ZJ's for a V8 lift my XJ more and still flex good? or is that shooting my self in the foot?

It'll give you more lift.

Avoid Crusty's, they suck.

Go with the RE stuff.

RE 3.5" XJ coils will give you 4" easy.

I've got a set of new claytons 6.5" for sale that give about 5". They flex and ride great but the back of mine is now higher than the front so i need taller springs.
