Yeah, I was pretty disappointed with the turnout too. I did get a lot of glass and spent shells picked up. Here are a few more pics, sorry the quality isn't very good. I was eating lunch watching some of the guys try one of the thousands of possible courses.

Kudos to you and your group for cleaning up!

Yeah, it's about 20 miles North of Reno. How much cash do you want to pay? I have an empty room you could live in. :D There are tons of rocks in NV!

lol hey camel, whats the name of the town that its in? me thinks im going to have to add it to my road-trip list :D

It's not in a town. Reno/Sparks is the closest city or town. Moonrocks is about 2/5 the distance from Reno to Pyramid Lake (in case you want to look on a map and get a general idea). There are dozens of great trails within minutes of downtown Reno.

ah cool, well then who owns it?

FeCamel

Who owns Moonrocks? All US citizens own it, it is a BLM OHV park. Almost 80% of NV is owned by the Federal Government, or there-abouts. I can't really think of a good trail in No. NV that ISN'T on BLM land.

Wish I could have made it. I hope all those that were there wheeling were also there picking up trash. I'm very much looking forward to the event!!!

Well the pictures are decieving. We picked up trash all the morning and into part of the afternoon. But after 6 hours of bending over to pick up crap I think it was a good break time and obviously I was more interested in taking pictures of crawling than people picking up trash.
