Belly Dragger 04-27-2002, 04:26 PM A directory of all the pics I took. (http://www.mjw.com/amigo/calrocs-clean)
FeCamel 04-27-2002, 06:15 PM Yeah, I was pretty disappointed with the turnout too. I did get a lot of glass and spent shells picked up. Here are a few more pics, sorry the quality isn't very good. I was eating lunch watching some of the guys try one of the thousands of possible courses.
FeCamel 04-27-2002, 06:16 PM Brutus needing a tug. :flipoff2:
FeCamel 04-27-2002, 06:17 PM more
FeCamel 04-27-2002, 06:18 PM Last one.
Sloan 04-27-2002, 06:18 PM Please pardon my ignorance but where is that?
desertCJ 04-27-2002, 06:38 PM Looks like an excuse for a prerun if you ask me:D
Seriously though I"m glad you guys got that place cleaned up for the comp. We need all the good press we can get.:smokin:
road1will 04-27-2002, 06:41 PM that is by far the coolest rock outcropping i have EVER SEEN. i would pay so much cash to live right near there.
oh and sloan, i think its just outside of Reno, NV.
Rerard 04-27-2002, 06:42 PM Kudos to you and your group for cleaning up!
FeCamel 04-27-2002, 06:43 PM Yeah, it's about 20 miles North of Reno. How much cash do you want to pay? I have an empty room you could live in. :D There are tons of rocks in NV!
road1will 04-27-2002, 06:45 PM lol hey camel, whats the name of the town that its in? me thinks im going to have to add it to my road-trip list :D
and possible town to live in list too! :p
FeCamel 04-27-2002, 06:53 PM It's not in a town. Reno/Sparks is the closest city or town. Moonrocks is about 2/5 the distance from Reno to Pyramid Lake (in case you want to look on a map and get a general idea). There are dozens of great trails within minutes of downtown Reno.
road1will 04-27-2002, 06:54 PM ah cool, well then who owns it?
FeCamel 04-27-2002, 07:00 PM Who owns Moonrocks? All US citizens own it, it is a BLM OHV park. Almost 80% of NV is owned by the Federal Government, or there-abouts. I can't really think of a good trail in No. NV that ISN'T on BLM land.

Hopefully Lance's buddy won't try to eat this one too! LOL! :flipoff2:
:mad3: :mad3: DAMN! After seeing these pictures, i am REALY pissed at my mechanic for not finishing my brakelines LAST MONDAY when i brought my crawler in! Ill be there sunday, come hell or snow!
Whitewater 04-28-2002, 10:12 PM Wish I could have made it. I hope all those that were there wheeling were also there picking up trash. I'm very much looking forward to the event!!!
Belly Dragger 04-29-2002, 05:29 AM Well the pictures are decieving. We picked up trash all the morning and into part of the afternoon. But after 6 hours of bending over to pick up crap I think it was a good break time and obviously I was more interested in taking pictures of crawling than people picking up trash.
