Whats the weather like on the con in october? typically, when does the snow hit the trail or is it frezzing at night up there?

It really depends from year to year. I been up there in early October with freezing temps and snowing. Just watch the weather a little closer to when you go and be prepared for the cold.

I saw frost in August this year. By this weekend it will be in the 70's in Sacramento, it will be cha cha chilly on Rubicon

Be ready for anything! The pirate clean up in 2000 it was mid 70's during the day and with windchill it hit -30 that night!

I went on oct 21 last year and it was 70s in the day and probably 30 at night. Who knows what it will be like.
