I'm thinking about running 4.27 in the rear and 4.10 up front with a T-18 and 304 motor should this setup be o.k

that front/rear difference is too far apart. You'll blow up one end or the other.

some gearsets won't let you get exact numbers, but 4.10/4.11 is OK or 4.27/4.30 is Ok, but that much difference is toooo much.

unless you wanna have tires that are 4% larger in the rear, no that setup is not ok.

i've heard of some mudders having deeper gears in front (5.38/5.13) to pull them along. but that's for dedicated mudsloggers.

What is it with fucking idiots today Beezil and hot money you two should go back to JU where you fucking idiots belong..

Al, As someone posted earlier the ratio is to far apart, Why are you thinking about going different ratios? Just because you dont want to regear one?

Ask around theres a person on the board that can regear it for a decent price if you buy the gears and the install kit thats local to us.
