Well, I'm really going to need someone’s wisdom here. I posted a problem a few days ago saying I had no power anywhere in my '79 FJ40. I now have power to the cab, fuse box, ignition, etc. Still not a thing working on the truck. I was thinking it was a grounding problem, so I took my jumper cables directly from the ground on the battery to various points on the frame and body, still nothing. I don't blow fuses either. When I hook up the battery, I don't get a spark, so that tells me there's no short. Any thoughts?

did you get a good look at your ignition swith? if there is any leakage around your windshield, it's not uncommon for the ignition switch to get corroded and cause problems.
also, have you checked the hot lead at the starter? loosen the connection a little, wiggle the wire a few times and retighten. that will ensure a good connection.;)
