well heres what i have done so far, i picked up a set of cj7 springs for $70 can. and the rears were in MINT cond. the fronts were a little rusty but in good shape......
i started by putting the front springs in the front and relocated my spring hangers back 2" and it leaves my axle in about the same place as the rears up front....... my brackets are 1/4" x4" flat stock bolted with 3 bolts to the stock hangers, i think i may have to extend the missing links so the shackle angel is a little more verticle

theres my shackle angel, i have to lengthen the top part of the missing link to make my shackles a little more verticle

Looks good:D , I always wonderd about the cj leafs, Did they give you any more lift? Are they similiar to a YJ leafs? Is that rear bracket the only thing you had to make and modify? Keep up the good work, and keep us updates!!!!!!:flipoff2:

very easy so far............. all i had to do was:
1-rear spring hanger
2-missing links need to be changed a bit
3-need longer u-bolts now, spring packs are bigger
4-rear u-bolt plate(cj rears are 2.5"s wide....)
5- drive shaft, i made my own custom CV joint that bolts on to the stock shaft.....made it out of anouther sami shaft, just the 2 flanges and 1 u-joint with both flanges together on that u-joint and i'll bolt one end to the stock shaft and the other to the diff......extended the shaft 3.25"....
and as for the lift......i now sit at 11" over stock and was 9.5" befor the cjs........so 1.5" of lift.......... i measured from the bottom of the frame to the top of the axle on mine(exactly 12") and measured the same spot on my dads stock sami(3") so thats 9" and with my 2" body lift its 11"......... it's higher than i expected so i might go with 35-36"s and toy axles........but for now it'll be 33"s on stock axles till i break.....
i'll be picking up the new u-bolts and 5" channeling(rear u-bolt plate) and the relocation brackets tomorow and i think that'll be all.........

well i got the front completly done........the rear will have to wait till i find a u-bolt plate off something with 2.5" wide springs.......the shop dosn't have any 5" channeling.......... so heres a pic of how high it is now in the front.........begining to think its not going to fit out the garage......

ok a few things about the pic...... i'm not bending down when i took it, theres an incline before my garage...... and second those are 31x10.5"s.......... so that gives you an idea of the lift....
