What kinds of travel do most of you have in these areas? I searched and saw that 50/50 would be ideal, but I am wanting real actual truck numbers. My mock-up 4 link has about 10" of stuff, and 6" of droop. Worthless?:(

i like a rig that has more stuff than droop, so long as you have the lack of a body to allow full stuff. it keeps the rig more stable IMO and it doesnt get out of control.

keep your design, i think you'll like it.

I think if you have 10 inches of travel I would want 4 inches of stuff and 6 droop..

as long is it ain't "revolvershakleWorthlessdroop"

my truck has mostly droop up front and an even mix out back. 5-/50 seems the easiest to deal with from a driveshaft / sttering setup.
mine rides and drives fine so I don't know if it really matters that much except at the extreme limits of the sport

Mt rig is about 2" of compression(at the springs) and ??? extension(haven't been able to flex it out yet), but probably at least 8-10" of droop at the spring. I have a pretty low ride height, and wide stance. This means that, during articulation, i will stay higher off the rocks, but my COG will be high too. So, I think if you have a high ride height, you should utilize a lot of compression. but if you have a low ride height, you should use more extension.

just my opinion...

more droop and less stuff was more stable for me. also got the reward of lowering my jeep due to less stuff. alot more stable.:D

The ability to "stuff" keeps you more level while going over an obsticle.

i have about 4 inches of shock compression, which is more at the tires. the rest is droop. i dont like to stuff to much cause it flattens the leaf springs out creating a negative arch and over time your springs wear faster. im not sure how much droop i have, at least 10 inches at the shock.

Sometimes droop is a really bad thing...like on my wife.:flipoff2:

But now stuff, on the other hand!:D

I have about 3.5" of compression front and back. I still don't know how much drop I will have cause I haven't ramped it yet. I have 9012s on the front so I should have about 10" of drop, but I don't think I will. In the back I should have 10" of drop easily:D

stuff also allowed me to stuff the back wheel as my front on the opposite corner went for the sky while climbing on sidehills...
