Does anyone have any experience with or is currrently running the Bullet Proof steering system, from Performance Unlimited (http://performanceunlimited.com/steering/index.html) on thier 40?
I'm going to go to a crossover steering set up with my SO, and I'm thinking of running a RAM assist to help my mini PS to turn the 36s I just got. I'm thinking of going with the Trail Proof system.
Any thoughts/advice?
TIA

I installed a Rock Proof set up on my dads EB about 5000 miles ago abd he loves it. There is no way that thing is going to bend, it's way over built. Very easy install and the machine work is nice.
Only negative is the powdercoat is way underbaked so it chips/flakes very easy.

The write up in Four Wheeler looked pretty easy. I wonder if you can get with out powdercoating? or in different colors? Hmm, another damn question!

Ya, They will do other colors for a small fee. $20 or there abouts.
They probably won't have a problem with under cure on the trail and race set ups'. The Rock Proof has way more mass than the others, so it takes longer to raise to cure temp but they probably run them all the same time.
