Looks like fun guys. Hey i live stockton so the next time you guys
go out shoot me an e mail. Is that the only area for 4 wheel drives
at this time? Any trials open for 4bys?

Next time- we'll shoot you a PM :)

The area is really small but good for suspension travel testing. No trails here :(

The pics are from the 4x4 obstacle area, part of the obstacle area is avoiding all the kids on bikes. I almost ramped a couple as they dart in front of you, complete with glares from the parents, you know not like they have their own dedicated play areas.

The valley floor is open to the 4x4's also, with a few obstacles scattered around. There is not much to do there, only good for a couple hours of play time.

I'll drop you a line next time we head to Frank Raines also, good camping to be had there and a nice creek bed to play in.

Joe.

Yeah- what's up with that:mad: We noticed the same thing. Amanda had a guy riding double with his kid on a quad cut her off and then had the balls to stare her down like it was her fault. I took care of that real fast :vader: He took off when he saw me climb outa the truck!

Cool, I heard they were supposed to expand a large area to 4bys
in the near future. They nead to devlelope it like Hollister hills. I
would like to go to Frank Raines , never been there. My bro in laws
800 should be running soon. Its pretty sweet. Its running a 383
stroker/2.5 spring over/Scout 2 axles with Arb and high steer/4.27
gears/35 boggs with beadlocks. Its been a 3 year project for him.
Cool Rig!

Ok and your running what, oh I forgot you don't have the problem with SUA :flipoff2:

How many SOA Scout II axles have seen without the Z-link?

I think Z-links are perfectly fine for 33's and a trail/light some medium duty 4 wheeling. Its when you start getting crazy that the faults come into play. I mean someone who does not thrash their rig and flog it hard will have many years of happy service with a Z-link.

I also agree that when smeone has the extra cash they should pony up for Crossover, but the Z-link can be a good interium piece while saving up.

Ask Pat D. he babies his rig with a Z-link:flipoff2:

I ran a Z link in my old 7 and it worked fine. As long as you use
stong material and some gussets you can trash all you want. I
never had a failure with mine.

Hmm.. every spring-over Scout II in Helena, MT has high-cross-over! :flipoff2:

Not a single Z-link in town.

And, Fleck.. a Z-link *IS* still cross-over steering.
