: We-Rock Grand Nationals Coverage
RedNeckRea 09-23-2006, 03:54 PM http://www.pirate4x4.com/trailreports/weroc_grandnationals06/index.php
not a whole lot of info or pics or info posted, but at least there is scores. also noticed a lot of names missing. rick and rick aren't there to defend their rookie of the year...no jordan....no campbell...standage and bullock (sp?) are missing from legends...and I'm sure there's more but those are the ones that stuck out from the scores. what happened with that?
my congrats to brian ellinger and scott ellinger, keep it up for day 2.
Scott@Rockstomper 09-23-2006, 06:23 PM The courses are tough, technical, really tight, etc., but they're really cool stuff. We've actually taken to thinking of the terrain in skatepark terms--it's not a buggy, it's a skateboard with really big tires and horsepower.
Jesse Haines is absolutely driving his butt off; I saw some incredible driving from Cody Waggoner, and Jason Paulie's driving just gets even more amazing in reverse. George Negron pulled a near-lawn-dart maneuver and saved it; Brian Ellinger launched Dave Cole's rig high enough to make airplanes jealous, Becca Webster's engine is about done (I've heard rumors of a marathon engine swap party tonight)... it's been quite a day.
Scott@Rockstomper 09-23-2006, 06:28 PM 'nother pic. I'm having to resize these and upload over a (borrowed) wireless connection that makes dialup look fast, so more (from me) will have to wait till I get home, or at least till I find some faster bandwidth to "borrow"
kris1351 09-23-2006, 07:52 PM Spent all day out there and it was awesome. Very cool setup and lots of action all day long, ready to go back tomorrow already!!
Go Team Green!
OZPOS 09-23-2006, 08:22 PM Looks like a great event.
Does anyone know if there is more to the score cards, is there another group yet to run as i have noticed a few big names are missing from the Unlimiteds and Pro's.
Campbell, Jordan, Mello, Bulloch.
zukstur 09-23-2006, 08:49 PM Chris, We couldnt make it. Just bad timming with my real job, we started cutting our third cut of hay and four familys depend on me for their income.

Thump 09-23-2006, 08:51 PM I hadheard last week that Campbell and Bulloch weren't going. I wasn't aware that Tracy wasn't gonna be there.
Droopy 09-23-2006, 09:34 PM Kim and I didn't attend this weekend either... :( Just bad timing for us with money, job, timing with this event, none of our crew could go, rig repairs from last two events, etc. I talked with Nick (Josh Wilson's spotter) and knew they were not attending either. Talked with Mike Hale as well and he couldn't swing it due to a lot of reasons as well.
So...there is 3 teams from the east in Pro Mod not there that wanted to be there...but just couldn't.
But.....
....good luck to Drew, Chris, Jack, and Team Green!!!!!!!!!!
GRIDWNC 09-23-2006, 09:59 PM . . . Brian Ellinger launched Dave Cole's rig high enough to make airplanes jealous . . .
While it isn't as great a pic as I had hoped, here's my take of his uprising!

gah...i knew i was missing one of the big legends class teams from the east. how could I forget the kareokee team of team Rock Out Racing. :(
sorry to hear you couldn't be there kim and droopy.
Lance 09-23-2006, 10:55 PM Nope, what you see in the scores is what you get. I was pretty suprised to see some missing competitors, as well. I wish I was competing, that's for sure... I got some GREAT pictures today. Please forgive me, as I have a new laptop (I went to the dark side (Apple) and had to buy all new software, and then figure out how to use it. Combine that with all the drinkin' I did tonight at the bars, and I didn't get everything I wanted to up tonight. I will get my story and some more pictures posted first thing in the morning, though.
BlueTorch 09-24-2006, 12:00 AM the comp park is great. I am glad we made the trip over. I will be coming back here for sure.
The new Red Bull RockHer is doing great (other than swapping the engine out tonight). Becca is sitting in Second place after day 1. I left the guys a little while ago. They were getting close to finishing the engine swap. Tomorrow should be another fun day.

RedNeckRea 09-24-2006, 12:42 PM damn...100x better coverage today. actually had something to read about it. :flipoff2:
the hourly score updates are awesome. looks like everyone is doin good. hopefully the shootout goes well.
surveyboy 09-24-2006, 12:50 PM While it isn't as great a pic as I had hoped, here's my take of his uprising!
oh chit!!!!!!
saw they were in third after yesterday. hope they continue to do well today!!
kris1351 09-24-2006, 03:56 PM Should be some more awesome pics being posted today, lots of action and excitement. That ramp launch show that was going on was awesome, especially the last guy before the shootout.
hoohaa 09-24-2006, 05:33 PM Becca did really great, as did Team Green! Scott put on a freaking awesome show on the wall. haha, pretty much everyone today put on a great show on the wall.
RockGatorFan1 09-24-2006, 05:52 PM Heard that Marty Hart and spotter Jeff Jones came in second I believe, in the Unlimited class. Congrats to them and to Maxxis. Was going to be there to watch this competition but was unable to make it. Would had been great to see all the great guys I read about and see on TV. Maybe next time we can make it.
apeters89 09-24-2006, 06:29 PM Scott put on a freaking awesome show on the wall.
If that's not the understatement of the day I don't know what is.
Rolling sideways off the top of the wall not once, but twice. THEN, going at it a third time only to endo backwards off the top as well...
Was just glad to see him get out and stand proud for the crowd!
Take a few ibuprofen's tonight Scott!
JeremyH 09-24-2006, 07:11 PM Good show today guys!!
Here are some pics that I took with my crappy camera:

Shootout starts with pic # 830.
JeepRecoveryTeam 09-25-2006, 09:06 AM What a weekend!
Thanks to everyone who got us there, and everyone who got us through the weekend. All the hard work this year paid off when we got our first podium of the year. And it's even sweeter that top 3 get the invite to Worlds :cool2:
These pics must have been taken almost at the same time. You can see Kimber on the ground on the right. Thanks again to everyone.

mudtruck44 09-25-2006, 09:16 AM I just read the event write up and I kind of thought it made me sound like an idiot. After the rear shock broke in half the rear driveshaft was hitting the link, and if we would have tried the hill with the the buggy in that condition the upper links would have went through the fuel cell.

It didn't sound that bad- but probably hurt more given the dissapointment of the setback- your expression looked like you were repteatedly kicked in the balls as you drove off that course- a tough break, sounded like the damage was more severe from where I was- you and Brian made the right call.
A few minutes after I had made some comments to Lance about our perceived bad call I learned that I had nudged the cone with the backside of the tire as I turned sharply down the hill- we took our eyes off the cone to soo- lessons learned. The bad part was we never heard the call though it was correct, it should have been audible and got caught by surprise signing the score card. I'll still take correct calls anyday:)
We enjoyed a good comeback on Sunday, squeeking into the finals and qualifying for the worlds- great for our team and sponsors.
Oh- and thanks to Marty for a little coaching and setting the std on the wall, I was high for 20 minutes after that launch- what a rush:). Bender kicked in some good advice late in the day too.
Scott and George put on a spectacular "never say die" show.
Congrats to all that made it thought, sounds and looks as though a GREAT time was had by ALL.
mudtruck44 09-25-2006, 11:17 AM Ken, the noise you heard from my buggy on that hill was the driveshaft hitting the upper link after the breakage. We fixed the shock and ran our 8th course, but before the main event we noticed that the ears of the driveshaft yoke were broken pretty badly around the c-clip. Thanks to High Angle Driveline we had the parts to fix it.
I'm voting for Ken Blume as the We-Rock "Come Back Team of the Year". Congradulations on a good year!

Everybody gathered around after the third hard landing, and from where I was, the world was spinning, I was trying to get my bearings, and they looked like they were going to flip it back on its wheels before I got out.
I know Shawn was chasing people away from it as I figured out which way was down and what I was doing, and I think I told Rachel (or maybe everybody in general), "we've got plenty of time, relax, I'm going to put my feet down, unbuckle, and climb up on top of it and dance for the crowd." Once on top, I rethought the dance idea, but it was the right thing to do (IMHO) to at least let the crowd know that I wasn't seriously hurt.
My team wouldn't let me touch ibuprofen or anything stronger than Gatorade for several hours (for fear of masking serious concussion or spinal injury), and LilRich was insistent upon that I get checked out by the medics for my own safety.
I'll post more later; for now, I'd just like to say that the immense number of people who came by the car with genuine concern for my safety after that pounding, really meant a lot to me. Thank you to everybody out there. :)
mudtruck44 09-25-2006, 12:37 PM I have a lot of respect for the teams that run hard every obstacle no matter what position they're in. The guys that were the most entertaining weren't the ones that were making it look easy if you know what I mean. George Negron making that hill after multiple rolls, Team Rockstomper's three spectacular rolls, Shane Yost getting up the hill with no rear driveshaft,.....all awesome performances.

Not meant to make you look like an idiot, that's for sure. Just my and the crowd's observation. I will definitely update the story with that tidbit of info. Thanks!
mudtruck44 09-25-2006, 12:46 PM Thanks, I appreciate it. ;)

Scott... like a few good rolls are gonna hurt you. Hard head and all, glad you're OK.
I seem to recall you being bummed as can be at last year's GNC when you popped a rear axle. How much do you have to repair on the rig this time? :D
See you all at world... and you all still suck. Some of you are starting to swallow, too! :grr:
AL'S 92YJ 09-25-2006, 02:18 PM Congrats to all! I had to leave before the shoot out started but was amazed at everything that transpired before that. I just wish I could make it to the Worlds. Good Luck to those attending.
nasnut67 09-25-2006, 03:32 PM I would like to say that this weekend was AWESOME! That hole in the ground in Boyd, TX is the coolest hole in the ground I have ever seen. It is great when the entire town stands behind the series. The media turnout was great, the stands were full, and the show was awesome. The fact that there were programs and television coverage was some of the best improvements that could have happened. I loved the vehicles going airborne that was just unbelievable. I can not wait for Vegas. For all of the right coasters it was great meeting you guys and actually seeing some of your rigs was great. Also I need to thank CRAWL for all of the water and pizza, that was cool guys and I appreciate it. I also need to thank Tom Campbell and Aaron Stapen for all of the rides this weekend thank you a ton. 2007 is going to be the SHIZNIT!
GRIDWNC 09-25-2006, 05:47 PM Here's Scott's 2nd roll from my angle. I've got all three but I think this one has a GREAT belly shot in it!:D
Bushwhacker 09-25-2006, 05:51 PM What a weekend. My wife Anne and I came down with the RROCK crew to help judge. We were on A3 on sat and B3 on Sun. We learned that judging is alot more work than it looks like. We compete in RROCK, so it was good to see the other side. We got to see some great action and meet some great teams, and see others that we've met before. The crowd was amazing, they loved the great show you guys put on for them. Huge thanks to the Rich's for inviting us down, and congrats to the teams going to Vegas. Not sure if we are going to be able to make it out there to judge or not.
RedNeckRea 09-25-2006, 05:53 PM
that last pic in that series is :smokin:
YJgirl 09-25-2006, 05:58 PM This weekend was absolutly AMAZING! The Rich's built an amazing arena setting that allowed the fans to watch everything from the stands, and several fans commented on the set up as being like a kid in a candy store - they didn't know what to watch next because all the action was right there in front of them. Great design guys!
Thanks Hammer for doing a great job at announcing!
Thanks Brandon & Tom from CRAWL for pizza and drinks for the competitors and media.
Thanks Lance for saving me from my blonde moment!
And thank you competitors for putting on one hell of a show! Speaking of show - holy hell Scott! Talk about doing a Fakey 180 grab, getting the car restarted, then doing another Fakey 180 grab, and for the grand finale a full Superman Back Flip off B4...he's quite a bit sore, but alive. Thank you to everyone that assisted Scott after his third roll. Lil Rich, Shawn, Mike, Wes, Lubes, Shane, Rachael, and all the medics and everyone else that was around him (it's all kind of a blur as to who was there).
This is Scott's third attempt - check out that hang time!:

Ya know, despite Scott's roll's we had a fun weekend - we were in the top 5 until B4 so you can imagine the disappointment, but the guys had fun regardless....and of course we couldn't resist putting this on the car :D :

I think I need to change it to "Student Stunt Driver" for next year.
Shane - I'll get you a "Student Driver" one as apparently you need it. :p To quote Shane on B3 after he sheered the wheel studs on the right front:"Did that just fall off?"
Todd: "Yep"
GRIDWNC 09-25-2006, 06:20 PM last ones
GRIDWNC 09-25-2006, 06:25 PM Thanks Lance for saving me from my blonde moment!
Hey now I tried but you had to be diff'rnt. Then I carried that damn thing around all day for no reason! I shoulda grabbed your arse again!:D
...Kimber - your shots are AMAZING!
Thank you! I really loved that angle and vantage point. After shooting from both sides, I thought that would be the best for rollover shots! I'll send the full resolution ones out tomorrow on a cd!
GRIDWNC 09-25-2006, 06:28 PM 3rd roll from the side angle . . .

surveyboy 09-25-2006, 06:40 PM THANK GOD he had a neck brace on!!!
no shit!!!! glad he's doing ok. since we know he's ok from that, well, as ok as scott can be, how's the rig???
GRIDWNC 09-25-2006, 06:40 PM The first and second rolls were nearly identical, but the 2nd one had a little more skinny pedal and was more dramatic with that sky launch.
JeepRecoveryTeam 09-25-2006, 06:54 PM no shit!!!! glad he's doing ok. since we know he's ok from that, well, as ok as scott can be, how's the rig???
Per Scott.
Broke the distributor cap on the last one.
Bent a few tubes, but not bad.
It's a good thing he builds thing 'Overkill' ;)

I can't stress how important it is for drivers to use a neck brace. I'm going to make sure Scott gets a thicker one because I don't like what I see in one of Kimber's shots at all. Regardless it definately saved him from major injury, and despite that many complain that it compromises the ability to move and look around while in the vehicle, it's worth using one to save a life. The Hans & Hutchinson Devices were extremely controvercial when made mandantory in NASCAR, but everyone knows it is well worth the cost of being paralized or dying as a result of a snapped neck.
The chassis is bit tweaked but functional. After Donner we replaced the roof to be safe, and I'm glad we did. The Dedenbear knuckles took a beating from the looks of the pics, but amazingly enough they are fine. It was the steering arm brackets that bent though. Bent a tire, broke a pully on the one of the suck down winches, and lost both headlights (which we gave to one of the kids at the event). There are a few tweaks in the chassis, and the last roll Scott came down on the nose pretty hard - hard enough that he landed on the distributor cap and broke it. But we drove it into the trailer after replacing the distributor cap.
JeepRecoveryTeam 09-25-2006, 07:11 PM I'm going to make sure Scott gets a thicker one because I don't like what I see in one of Kimber's shots at all.
I'm sold on neck rolls. But, between what happened to Mustard Dog and Rotozuk on trail rides and this pic of Scott, I'll also be running window nets next year.

Yes, that is exactly what I'm talking about. I wish I would have put on the window nets, we have them, just didn't have them on the car.
Dave & Brian - Congrats on the Third Place finish!!! I guess the bannana in the pocked to lure Brian along did work after all.

After I got them up on the laptop, I about freaked when I saw his head out of the car BEFORE he landed. I'm glad you looked with a critical I and saw it too. I was going to add a note in with the disk about it. The shot before that one he's looking directing down into the roll which shows where his head started and then ended up!
Go2Guy 09-25-2006, 08:08 PM My neck brace does not impede my head twisting visibility at all, wear it religiously- were the belts good and tight? I had my crew yank on mine before that run- new we were going big.
not to burst a bubble but any window net would easily stretch enough for a helmet to come out that much- just want people to build a car with realistic expectations of what the nets can and will do for them- make sense?

Yep, that makes sense Ken. But keep in mind if installed properly the are tight, and if not, they should be replaced with proper fitment.
Scott's belts were on tight because he was sucked into the seat after I got to him on the third roll, not hanging loosely as someone could lead towards just by looking at that picture. Shawn and Scott made a point to make sure the 5-Point harness was on tight after they had fixed the fuel pump wire issue. They both commented on numerous occasions after-the-fact that they were glad they took the time to make sure he was buckled in propertly, and I'm very proud that they used thier brains on that part. When it's a life at stake they don't cut any corners and I was relieved to see Scott so tight into his seat when I did get to him. Trust me, I don't want to make the phone call to Scott's wife that he's hurt because she'll ring my neck for it!
The velocity of the roll coupled with the impact played a huge part in where his head was in that pic. He hit hard, all three times.
Just be safe competitors and don't cut any corners while on the course!
JeepRecoveryTeam 09-25-2006, 09:50 PM - make sense?
Absolutely. But the other two examples I mentioned were much bigger deals than Scott. MD got a knot (and a helo ride) on the right side of his head from hitting the outside of the B Pillar:eek: and Wayne (Rotozuk) smashed his hand on a flop. For me the net is more about my hands/arms flailing outside the rig than my head. I've rolled enough to know to hold onto the wheel, but if I get knocked loopy (or loopier in my case) I want something keeping me from getting in bigger trouble.
d
OZPOS 09-26-2006, 04:20 AM squeeking into the finals and qualifying for the worlds- great for our team and sponsors.
Congrats on such a great drive, and congrats on making the cut for the World Finals. It should be a great event.
Brian Ellinger 09-26-2006, 07:22 AM Absolutely. But the other two examples I mentioned were much bigger deals than Scott. MD got a knot (and a helo ride) on the right side of his head from hitting the outside of the B Pillar:eek: and Wayne (Rotozuk) smashed his hand on a flop. d
Do you hold onto the wheel like scott? Anyone get a pic of that steering wheel?
Awesome weekend, great courses. And that was one fun flying leap!
Scott@Rockstomper 09-26-2006, 07:35 AM Our nets have to be pulled into place, but I'm not sure I have complete faith in the little support rods that hold them in, to resist flex and prevent me from sticking my head out as much as it was out in that one pic. Obviously, I wasn't trying to stick my head out the window there, it was a weight-and-momentum thing. Nets probably would've helped some in this case, but relatively minimally so (unless I'm missing a pic elsewhere that has my head way outside, but I don't think it can get much farther out than it was in that one pic) since I would've still flopped my head just as much to the right inside the car anyway.
Honestly, and I don't mean to be cavalier about it, (my neck does still hurt) as little out of the car as my helmet is in that pic, is entirely on the flexibility of my neck and the fact that the car is small and I sit close to the side. The belts were so tight that it took Shawn and myself both to buckle me back in after I got out following the first roll (didn't loosen the belts, just crammed me back in there, and it took both of us pulling, hard, to get the buckle back together).
I did a lot of things wrong on that wall. Looking back through the pics I've seen, I stayed in the gas way too hard, way too long, I didn't get on the brakes at the right time; I still don't have a clue what caused the car to spin the first couple tries, but something wasn't right there either... and I took a beating for it.
We bent a wheel, a high steer arm, the chassis in about four places, the roof panel, the steering wheel, broke the distributor cap, the headlights, a rear winch pulley... and I haven't even taken it out of the trailer for a better look-over yet.
I'll be shopping for a thicker neck donut after this, probably pick up a new helmet and a new harness while I'm at it. Some safety items are worth throwing away after they get used hard. A new steering wheel might also be a good idea, since I bent this one about 20 degrees, but that's not so much a safety item (although it does give some idea of how hard I was holding onto it).
I'd also like to thank the medics and EMTs for their work, for being there for us... we all hope not to need them, but we're very glad they're there for the once in a great while that they are needed.
Not to harp on it, but I was one of those griping about the neck support early on, and while I don't entirely like the limited mobility that results from wearing it, it probably saved me a trip to the hospital and a lot of pain (and probably serious spinal injury) this weekend. Hopefully, crashes that hard are few and far between, and that's the worst (I think) I've ever taken, but it's worth taking that extra step for safety... as Val mentioned above, if not for us (as drivers), for our families.
TerryHowe 09-26-2006, 07:42 AM Scott, it looks like you lined up and said "What would Bob Standage do?" That normally makes for great footage!

I would trade the footage for finishing the course. If we had we probably would have made the shoot-out. Going into the last course we only had 17 point total on the weekend.
Scott and I finally got everything going in the groove and completed what we called out first objective - we finished all but one course and all of them with 5, 0 or negative numbers. Too bad it was the last event of the year.
Congrats to all the competitors and to Jason. Jason made everyone look like "student drivers" when he basically crawled the last wall like it was a walk in the park. :-)

Thump 09-26-2006, 09:27 AM I sit here looking at the pics, thankful that Scott's at least as OK as he was before the event and think to myself... "Self, I wonder what's going through his mind in this pic... I know what I'd be thinking" :laughing"

Actually I know exactly what he was thinking in that pic... but I can't repeat it here. :grinpimp:

nasnut67 09-26-2006, 09:43 AM We need Creighton's picture of MARTY in the air on the WALL!!!

Well, depending on the roll, in family-friendly terms...
First roll: What happened, why am I sideways?
Second roll: Here goes the spin cycle again.
Third roll: This is gonna really hurt. (this actually was said, over the radio, to Shawn, probably around the same timeframe as the rear tires cleared the wall)
The first two were the spin-sideways-then-barrel-roll rolls back to the wheels; the third was the end-over-to-the-door that didn't finish on the wheels.
Looking through, the pic of me looking out the right window at the looming ground, my highschool driving instructor would be so proud... look at those hands, both on the wheel, at 10 and 2...

When I was purging and editing the pics I noted that very thing and even told Randy that I would bet you said something to Shawn at that very moment! It's spooky to know you that well. Go away, before your wife starts to wonder!:D
This one is my favorite of your exhibitionistic attempts!

Brian Ellinger 09-26-2006, 11:25 AM So now we know scott can hit the gas, now we just need to get him top lift. scott, next time, when youre almost on top of the wall, hit the brakes, not the floor with the right foot!
As for the next brace, I love em. Goldendale, for those of you that saw the video... I landed sideways hard enough to bend 3/8" thick beadlock ring. You can see my head go in between the seat headrests. As soon as it happened, I felt the cushion squoosh a little. No pain then or later from that hit. Without the brace, Im sure I would have been unhappy. I bought the thickest I could find, and a full face helmet to work with it. As for visibility, thats whats spotters are for.
I think I need to get some of these pics for the Diamond site. Thanks scott!

From our vantage point at the other end and side (red TJ doing recovery) my thought on the third landing was: "that's gonna hurt". Your head did two hard flops to the right, looked like a crash dummy. That donut saved your a**, no doubt.
Glad you ended up just sore and not broke, 'cuz you gave everybody a scare.
Lubes 09-26-2006, 02:07 PM THANK GOD he had a neck brace on!!!
It was right around there that Wes looked to me with one of the most seriously looks on his face I'd ever seen and asked "If I keep filming this for you, will you run all the way to the truck and get my neck brace?"
Lubes 09-26-2006, 02:13 PM Those pics of Scott are almost crazier than standing there watching it in person! Well, actually not, but it lets ya stop and actually think about it this way.
Speaking of, Scott or Val, where should I sent the vid I got of that whole mess to?

Scott's thinking one of two things:
(1) 'something tells me that I'll be re-replacing the top of the cage again'
(2) 'OOOHHHH SSSHHHH...............'[bang...slam....pow....ting....bang]
powdr7 09-26-2006, 10:28 PM Scott's attempt at a rail slide on the wall twice was pretty crazy!! I think he needs to keep his "skateboard" in the halfpipe, not on the rock courses!!!
Glad he was ok after all of that. I think I have a total of 30 pics of the 3 rolls. They did make for some great sequences!
I really want to thanks all the drivers for making the trip, and WeRock for an amazing event. The course set up was VERY fan friendly, and that's exactly how it needs to be.
It was great to see some of the East coast guys I dont get to see often, and even cooler to meet a bunch more east coast teams!!

Hey now.. if he gets the half fakie, rail slide 180 down on the wall it should be good for at least a -20. Anyone else want to try it??? :grinpimp:
- Shawn
nasnut67 09-27-2006, 07:09 AM Sounds good for -20 but considering that is a who's line kind of move the points really dont matter do they? It was a great testament to the Sunray Engineering stuff he had on board. If you can pass that by the Rich's though it would be something.

I think you've got me confused with Troy McDaniels; we've got Diamond 9" centers with Dedenbear outers, Troy has Sunray goodies throughout (including their 1610 knuckles). Both of us have green rear-steer car-nosed two-seaters, although his is closer to a British racing green, and mine closer to an obnoxious Kawasaki streetbike green.
As wild as it'd be, I think I'd prefer to avoid the big-air skateboard tricks... 3800 pounds of car, airborne and spinning, rarely ends well.
nasnut67 09-27-2006, 09:43 AM ahh my bad. Now if you guys would venture east of the mississippi river I could tell the difference. LOL! Ahh heck I am kidding, I do think you guys put on a heck of a show though and your run was extremely entertaining. I appreciated seeing something new when you all started jumping the dang wall.
GRIDWNC 09-27-2006, 09:43 AM . . . , and mine closer to an obnoxious Kawasaki streetbike green.
Be careful how you talk about my color! You'll lose an almost adoring fan!:D
