Disclaimer: As with most offroad images, these do not do the terrain justice and make everything we were doing look rather weak. In particular, Shake, Rattle, & Roll is far steeper than it appears in the photos, as I'm sure a few (at least Ben) on this board can attest to.

The Defender peformed very well this weekend - my only real hangup was a slick mudclimb that KC and Ben peer pressured me into. Of course, by the time I arrived it had already been cut up by several vehicles, including KC's 'Mog, and I couldn't walk it without momentum.
In everything else, it was great. The McNamaras and RoverTym suspension made huge differences in the vehicle's capability. I got blasted by Bill R for saying they felt smoother than ARBs - and I still don't have any evidence for it, just my perception from driving. Perhaps Doug A. is right, and it is due to the hypoid gears help the feel...whatever the case, I love them.
Mechanically, nothing of note went wrong. Lost a relay on the air compressor before the day's trailriding, and the winch is on the DL list and has yet to undergo troubleshooting.
At least there were no major mechanical incidents to other vehicles as there have been every other time I've gone to Barnwell. I hope that curse is broken!
