A buddy of mine and I were talking, and I commented on how much I liked his XJ. He said, "Well, I'll trade you straight up, your TJ for the XJ"

His 2000 XJ has a Rusty's 6" LA, 2" spacers and 35's, and my 99 TJ has 2" spacers, 33's, and a tad bit of motor work done. Should I? They both have pretty much the same mileage, same motor, and they are both paid off. I really want to jump on this deal, and he does too, b/c he already has axles built that he could put under it.

I know this boils down to what I want to do, but if you were in my shoes, what would YOU do?

Sell them both and BUILT a Toyota... Just my $0.02

Xj's can be cool rides Just not for me, But dude its all about what floats YOU'RE boat & turn you on that matters.......

Not really too concerned about not being able to remove the top. It rains so damn much here, my top is on 85% of the time already. And I've got a flatfender in the shop that's getting an axle & engine swap, so that'll be my topless rig.

I think I'm gonna do it. Just gotta check into insurance on it. I'm paying about $50-$60 a month on the TJ, so I could stand a little more, just not alot.

I have 2 XJs and a CJ-7.I like my 7 better.I wouldn't trade.
