1996 GMC 5.7 Vortec Fuel pump

I have been reading some of the posts about swapping in tank fuel pumps for inline pumps in TBI applications. My Daughter has a GMC pickup. I'm tired of dropping the tank to replace the fuel pump, has anyone done a in line pump switch in this application? Vortecs need 60 lbs pressure or more to start, what about the master e-2000? Just trying to get some info for the next time I have to do it in the middle of winter, Thanks- Al

Just get the AC Delco one with a lifetime wart. you will still have to replace it but at least it will be free!:D
