What are you guys using to make your bushing mounts? I am in the process of making some suspension arms and now i'm stuck. The bushings I have are 1 1/8th od. and 1 9/32nds od., but I can't find any tubing to fit these where I don't have to purchace 20'. It sucks cause all I need is 4'' of each.
Do you know of any suppliers for small amounts of tube in the bay area, preferably close to sf?

M.O.R.E. and Auto fab make universal bushings with the tube and bolts for around $11 each depending on size

I usually buy a thick piece of tube close to the right size(id to small) and then have it machined out perfectly. Works great.

I bought the M.O.R.E's as well...Beats the hell out of sourcing and machining for an $11 part.

If you still insist on using what you have, then go to http://www.onlinemetals.com Great source for small quantities down to 1ft. A little $ but what do you expect when you only want 12" of material?

thanks for the replies. I am sure I may go with another bushing. morpheus does that wrangler bushing have a metal insert to fit a 9/16ths bolt. If so when you take it out can a 3/4 bolt fit in without the insert?
