Depends what you want. They will give you a little lift & a stiffer pack.

The short fat ones just plain suck. Ride terrible, and can bend your main leaf at the end of the add a leaf. The long ones are OK in certain uses.

I can only speak on my one experience with them...save your money and get some springpacks. On the road they were much rougher riding and offroad they didn't flex as well but more importantly after about 8 months they had sagged back to stock.

Are you trying to say that a stock Waggy spring would be a 2" lift, so you want a 2" lift spring to total 4"? Or are you saying that the springs sold as 4" lift are actually 6" lift over a stock Waggy spring?

I'm staying both. Stock waggy front springs are 1.5"-2" lift springs when put on a YJ. So the 4" BDS waggys would end up like 6" on a YJ.

It would be nice if there was one that ended up a 4" on a YJ.

I agree the ful length AAL sags,

I used these on my first budget lift it was a 2.5in lift AAL. By now My spring pack is flat almost no lift and my front coils are still riding high at 4.5-5in.

AAL Is an ok temporary fix if your in a money rut. Im a coil guy so the packs gotta go!

To save you the trouble of looking around Summit is the Cheapest that I have foud and I checked everywhere. They are most likely backordered. They go pretty quick. I think that they are like 270 a set (2).

Just go to a spring place and have them cut you some add a leafs the same length as your mains. It usually only costs about half as much as ordering some and they are the same thing. They keep the SOA setup from saggin out so bad.:D

I don't know how everybody else feels about add-a-leafs, I can only speak from my experience.
I have used add-a-leafs on two rigs. The first being a 84 Toy 4x4, stiffened the ride and lost some articulation, then they eventually "flattened" losing my 2" of lift.
The second rig was my current XJ. Had the add-a-leafs for only 1 1/2 years. They too went flat. I feel as though they are not worth much anything for longterm, as that they'll conform to your springs natural state of form.
Just my $.02 worth.:D
