I gave the guy my Fedex shipper number and told him to ship Ground. Well he shipped Express Saver instead, and the bill was over $400 instead of $140 for a set of tires. Luckily I get a discount through my work, so I only owe $250. By the time I pay for his mistake on the shipping, I might as well have bought new tires with a warranty. I sent him a PM politely explaining the situation, and I didn't get any sort of response. I guess its unreasonable for me to expect someone to man up and accept responsibility for their mistakes.
southern k5- If you can't afford it, fine, but at least answer my PM and tell me so.
One more thing, two of the four tires had damage to the bead from dismounting. I asked southern k5 about the condition and he said they were perfect. After one wheeling trip, I lost a bead due to the chunked up bead and had to spend another $200 on a new tire.
Live and learn, I guess I'll be buying new tires form now on.
