Now is your question can you attach the NP203 to the NP205 using the Doubler?

I have seen some one use a NP205 on the back of the Transmisson then haveing a divorced NP205 behind that. They lowered the second tcase for driveshaft clearance.

yes run a chevy 203 married to the tranny and then the divorced ford 205 .

of coarse you would need an adapter from the ford tranny to the chevy case , but cant seee why it wont work :D

someone tell me if that makes sense or am i hittin the :smokin: to much :D :D :D

edit to ask how long is your rig

yes, Off Road Design has doubler kits available for Divorced transfer cases, I belive you'll need to find a 203 to attach to your current transmission though. I'm not exactly sure how the divorced setups work Check out www.offroaddesign.com for info on the doublers.

You just need the output from the 203 to have a yoke mounted to it. Then you run a shaft from the 203 to the divorced 205. In essence, make the back of the 203 appear as a 2wd tranny. You will need a 203 to mate w/your original tranny. It does not have to be a Chevy 203.

Or you can use a divorced mounted 203, then just use the doubler kit to put a 205 behind it.
