I'm looking for an upgrade to the current CJ-7 stock tierod/draglink/TRE setup. I don't want to go hydro assist. I just want to upgrade the tierod and draglink and put on some larger TRE's. I don't want to upgrade the tierod/draglink and leave stock TRE's it doesn't make much sense. I would like to also flip
Does anyone make a kit, or is there a junkyard swap out there? I have no problem reaming out the tapers to a larger size.

Stock D30 front? I assume so.

IIRC, a D44 knuckle will fit on a D30 housing. This would be the "simplest" way to upgrade. Hit the yard and look for a Waggie front, pull the knuckles nad all associated outers, plus the tie rod and drag link. You should be able to bolt all that to the stock housing and the only remaining item would be reaming the pitman arm to accept the larger TRE from the waggie. You'd have beefier steering AND knuckles.

The cheap route would be to ream the knuckles for the larger TRE's, but those D30 arms are a bit on the small side. IMHO

If I grab the waggy knuckles, will I end up with 6 lug wheels?
