Can I use my current Trail Master 4" springs and shocks on an SOA setup?

Sure you CAN use the 4" springs, and with a little shock mount relocation, you could PROBABLY use the 4" lift shocks too, but I wouldnt. With the 4" springs, you will need an antiwrap bar, big time, and you will have the room for at least 38's, but I hope you have the drivetrain to back meats that big, up.

you can use the springs but SOA with those springs, the shocks will be too short.

can you just buy larger shocks when you first get the kit... run the kit for like a year, and then when you go SOA, can you reuse the shocks you purchased in the first place? I'm tryin to skip steps.

 There is a little more to it than bolting the springs on top and moving the shock mounts  You arent ready for that kinda lift :flipoff2:

Skipping steps is not a good idea ;)

I tottally agree with keith on this one.

Theres Wrap issues, steering issues, shock issues, drive line issues, ETC ETC ETC

If your being cheap and trying to skip steps then your not ready for a SOA..

why is every one on the SOA craze these days anyways..

Wheel what you got, when it breaks then modify. And yes I am soa now but I wheeled sua for a while then I destroyed the rear axle and went different axles and SOA..

Here's the progression.
Why SOA? More lift for bigger tires.
bigger tires = bigger axles
new axles need gears, lockers, brakes, hubs, mounts, steering, brake lines, shock mount relocation, tie rod, drag link (high steer? definitely).
Then the drive shafts with slip yoke eliminator/CV??

Been there with D60 front/14 Bolt FF shaved rear and all the above.

Was it worth it? Absolutely! But be prepared for the time investment along with the $$$.

I'm a Newbie by post count but been at the real sh_t awhile.

PS don't forget reworking your spare tire mount for those big ass tires.
