I have a 1985 s15 gmc it has a 2.8 with a 4 speed :mad3: and i want to put a 4.3 in it but i like to leave the 4 speed in it or would lt be better to leave the auto in it.

I dont think very highly of the 4L60. I would leave the 4 speed in it.
But I guess that all depends on what you are going to be doing with the truck.
If it is just going to be your DD, I would think the 4L60 would be fine
