anyone know of any good writeups on cutting and turning the steering knuckles on a 78' bronco dana 44 with cast radius arm mounts? how hard of task is this? any helpful tips? ive talked to some guys who have done this to wagoneers axles, but with the cast mounts is it pretty much the same as a regular axle? grind off the weld by the c , heat i and sledge it off? also, does anyone know what the proper caster angle is for this axle? its going into my cherokee, and i dont like the idea of the radius arm mounts hanging so horizontally and low.

You don't need to cut and turn, just buy degreed bushings. I don't know what the proper caster angle is, but I believe a 4 inch lift requires a 4 degree bushing.
